    Town and Talent Project member schools first participate in the International Schools CyberFair. (As of 2017, over 50 schools have earned a total of 27 Platinum, 76 Gold, 163 Silver and 100 Special Mention Awards.)

    Mr. Ted Wen launches the West China Story project. This project invited students to narrate the character and appeal of their hometowns and villages in story form as a way of enriching the available information on western China’s culture and heritage. (Starting in 2017, 864 students assisted with USD 100,000., as of 2016, 24,900 student accumulatively were assisted with USD 1,800,000.

    Following the concept of West China Story Project, The first West China Story – Original Writing Competition was held. 2,045 student from 81 schools in 7 provinces of Western China joined it, The winner list was announced in March of 2017.

    Call for entries for The 2nd West China Story, Original Writing Competition started. 2,431 students from 68 schools in 7 provinces of Western China joined the competition. The winner list was announced in August, 2017.

    Call for entries for The 3rd West China Story, Original Writing Competition started. 2,659 students from 58 schools in 7 provinces of Western China joined the competition. The winner list was announced in March of 2018.
